It's true that donations at a time like this seem foolish, but not helping those in need at a time like this seems even more foolish. That is why we at the Yarder Mfg Co strive to maintain a profitable business that allows us to help those who are in need.

This year we had a wonderful opportunity to help one of our areas most precious resources, The Toledo Zoo. We took part in the design, manufacturing, and installation of  (2) 10 foot tall metal lions for the Toledo Zoo for its biggest fundraiser "The Zoo to Do". "Creating and donating the centerpiece to an event like Zoo to Do which raises over $250,000 every year is great to be a part of. And watching the guests enjoy your creation as a photo op, means that much more" - Matt Yarder

In addition to these gorgeous lions, we have been able to donate some of our patented collegiate grill grates to many local charities and organizations in an effort to help them raise money for their cause. The YMCA, Domestic Violence Center of Cleveland, University of Toledo, The Toledo School for the Arts, and the United Way were some of this years charities we were able to help with this small donation. 

And currently we at the Yarder Mfg. Co. are donating to a wonderful cause "Adelante Goes Pack to School". This charity helps supply the children of the Toledo area with the supplies they need to get a good start in their education. So we filled several bookbags to the brim with crayons, pencils, paper, notebooks, and everything else a child would need to release his/her desire to learn. Not only is Yarder Mfg. as a company donating to this cause, several employees have decided to donate their own bookbags for a lucky child.

So you see, it's easy. Don't think about the cost, think about the value. One very small action could create one very big reaction from your community or some lucky family. GIVE it a try!
